As the administrator of your Earned Points System, you will first need to create a member account within this builder section of our system. This member account is created solely to allow you, the administrator, access to Build your Earned Points System.
There is one thing I ask that you keep in mind. Anything worth while is worth working and waiting for. Once your Earned Points system is built, you will have a chance to configure your's specifically to your needs. There are many default settings you may wish to leave. however it is your business and I ask that you take the time during this phase to ensure that everyone associated with your Earned Points system is configure just as you like. There is nothing you can do that can't be undone. Once your buildout has been completed, you will be able to add, change, delete or modify your site.
If you have any questions, need any help, take a look at our FAQ section. If you do not see your answer there, please do not hesitate to Email the Administrator . You will generally get a response within a few hours if not quicker.
Now with all that being said, your next step would be to click here and Sign up as the Administrator to your Earned Points System. Then, the system will automatically email you a temporary password at which time, you will log back onto the system using the link in that same email. Once you log in, you are automatically authenticated and the creation of your Earned Points System begins. Then you will be able to setup your site, add your members and define who will be able to access your system, what pages they can access, what level of access they have (Read Only, Read and Write, Read, Write and Manage or Create). You simply send out an Invite which will send them an email with links to click on to complete the Member process and become part of your Earned Points System. You can also setup the members on your own without requiring an invitation being sent out.
Use the system to promote time being spent wisely!
Setting your point structure so tasks and prizes work for you in many ways. If you prefer your children spending more family time and playing more board games instead of video games you can set the prize costs in that direction. As an example, if you are thinking of an average point being worth $1.00 in real money and a video game cost $20 and a board game cost $20 you can set the points required to get the video game to 25 points and the board game at 15 points. Or if they have to use points for extra play time, then to play a board game for an hour could be set at 3 points and an hour of video game could be 6 points.
